Funded by UNICEF as part of the "Thabat" project and implemented by the Nabta Organization, a training workshop was held in Al-Damer Locality—attended by 22 men and 11 women—focusing on integrated capacity building in water and environmental sanitation (WASH) service management and community accountability mechanisms. The workshop aimed to enhance participants' capabilities in the integrated management of WASH services at the community level to ensure their sustainability and efficiency; introduce participants to safe programming principles and methods for integrating mechanisms to prevent sexual exploitation and abuse into all WASH project activities; and raise awareness regarding gender-based violence and ways to mitigate associated risks during service delivery.
